Onjuku Friend's Trip and Mikasa Battleship
We really needed a weekend away, so some of my friends and I went on a trip. We decided to hang out in a little beach town called Onjuku. It was a small town...with very few resteraunt options, but the beach was fantastic. Our first night we ate very expensive pizza and had a peaceful night beach walk. And I realized how much I missed being on the beach at night with the moon reflecting off the waves (missing Hawaii a bit). The next day we explored, we checked out different beaches, hikes, sea arches, and a building that went into the ocean so we could see the ocean floor. We ate at a yummy Hawaiian resteraunt and I got tpo eat spam musubi and teri chicken, YUM! Then we boogie boarded on the best waves until dark. Seriously, the boogie boarding was so much fun.
The next day we headed for a shop until you drop thrifting day. On the way over we stopped at a beautiful little temple. Then I thrifted with Tara, the ultimate thrifter. We all had fun finding bargains and cool stuff. I enjoyed it, although I was tired by the end. But I got some pretty cool finds.
Meanwhile Jake was being the awesome dad he always is. He took the kids on an adventure to see a Japanese Battleship, Mikasa. Of course they loved it. And then they went out for burgers and milk shakes.
So after a fun weekend we're all back together. Happy and healthy and refreshed.
