Firefighting in Tokyo
We decided to check out the Tokyo Fire Museum. It did not disappoint, it was very thorough and hands on for kids. Perfect for our family of aspiring firefighters (given the day). We loved all the fire trucks, ambulances, and helicopters.
We also had lots of fun running the simulator.
Later we went our for fluffy Japanese pancakes at a new place in Shibuya, they were amazing.
Then we went up Shibuya Sky, because we'd heard good things. It was my favorite tower we've visited (not sure all the boys would agree with me), but I thought it had the best views. And of course a good view of Shibuya crossing. While up there we also relaxed on the helipad, and hung out in the net chairs.
Kai found a good mirror to make faces. And I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but Japan has the best bathroom appliance for families: the baby seat in the stall. Seriously, why have we not caught on in the states?!
It was a really fun Tokyo day.
