Pace's First Christmas

Now, at 6 months a baby doesn't truly appreciate Christmas.  But it sure is fun to try to get them in the Christmas Spirit.  It also makes for adorable pictures, but unfortunately I didn't get nearly enough pictures.  This Christmas we celebrated by going to a few Christmas parties and then heading down to Texas to celebrate it with all the cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents on the Monson side.  On our way home we stopped at Beth and Ben's house fro a quick visit (wish it was longer).  Christmas 2013 was a blast.

At a church Christmas party Pace met Santa for the first time, and being the content baby we know and love, he didn't ask for anything.
I love this picture of Pace meeting Santa for the first time :)

Pace enjoyed seeing all the Monson clan and spending time with them.  He was spoiled with lots of hugs, toys, and smiles.

Uncle Josh with all the nephews.

This was his Christmas outfit.

Unfortunately I only got one picture of Pace opening one present before we even got out of bed on Christmas.  But not to worry, Pace doesn't really open presents yet.  We open them and then he plays with the wrapping before he even notices the gift!

Pace enjoyed getting some really fun toys, books, a walker, and cute clothes.  What more could a baby ask for?  Jake and I were equally spoiled.  We got fun gifts like, games (a must in our family), books, and kitchen additions.  Much to my joy, but to the chagrin of Pace, we got a new food processor.  So now I can make baby food.  None of which Pace appreciates, he prefers his rice cereal to any fruit or vegetable (at least for now).  But more on solid foods in a later post.

Uncle Ben's turn to hold Pace.
On our way home we go to see Ben and Beth.  But unfortunately it was a quick stop.  But it was great to see them.
Look at those cute smiles!
