White Christmas

Having always grown up in colder states, I am usually disappointed if there is no snow before Christmas.  There is something about that powdery white stuff that just makes me happy.  Well, snow has arrived in Missouri, and we are enjoying it.  We got a couple inches last night and it is still coming down.  This is already better than last winter, when the best snow we got was too icy and crunchy to play with.

So, since this is Pace's first time to see snow we bundled him up ad brought him along for Penny's walk (Penny also loves snow and eats and rolls in it the whole time).  He liked everything about it, except maybe the cold (but isn't that how we all are?).  We just can't wait till he is big enough to have snowball fights and build snowmen.

He may or may not have been laughing at Mommy in her snow hat.

After the fun outside we warmed up inside.  Who's going to say no to hot cocoa with whipped cream?
