Fuji Views, TeamLab Planets, and the Big-O

Kai, Jane and I decided to take a day to go enjoy the begining of fall viewing the big mountain around here. We went with some friends to Oishi Park. I'd never been there, but it had pretty amazing views with many different flowers to enjoy.
After enjoying the views Jane and Kai wanted to play on the playground. Then we enjoyed the fall foilage at the maple corridor nearby.
Then we headed to a famous tori gate, where you can get a picture of fuji in the tori. However, there was a line for the picture and we decided to skip it and enjoy a little hike to some nearby waterfalls (much more fun).
On the coming Saturday we checked off a Japan bucket list item and headed to Teamlab Planets Museum. It was amazing, and we spent so much time in the water illumination room. The kids got totally drenched and it was totally worth all the fun.
For his school, Kai and I disguised a turkey as a dinosaur. It was so cute to see how happy Kai was with the results.
And Pace, Grant, Jake and I have been running for the last month in preperation of the Big-O 10 mile run on base. Not sure what our time was, but I was so proud of us for running 10-miles. Pace beat us all.
And speaking of physical exercise Grant and Louis had push-up goals, so this has become a regular morning routine.
