Tokyo Night Life
So my friends and I booked a Tokyo night flight tour out of Yokota. It was a really fun time, and a fun way to see Tokyo. We took a timy cesna and flew over all the major attractions of Tokyo. I took a huge amount of pictures that do not do any justice to the sights we were seeing. But here are a couple of my favorites. 1. Tokyo tower with the city behind it (you can see Tokyo Skytree, the little purple dot in the background).
2. Shibuya Crossing from above....it was so bright, and we could even see some of the screens so clearly from the sky.
3. A cool ferris wheel near Yokohama.
4. And the blood vein like highways on our flight back.
And here's our crew:
Jake and I are trying to be a bit more intentional about planning our dates, and we found a cool bread bowl dipping ramen place that was yummy! It was a rainy day so perfect to have soup.
And on our drive over we found Guito from Cars.
We also had a surprise double date when we ran into our friends the Romneys on our way to Stake conference. They introduced us to a new kind of noodles, kind of like a ramen minus the broth...with more of a sauce you mix into the noodles. It was yummy too! So we've had a few really fun evenings in the last little bit.
Here at home Pace and Grant have finished their models that they have been working on and they turned out looking very official.
Jane is trying to learn strider biking.
So we're really proud of these 3 and their accomplishments.
