Garden Hopping

As mentioned in my previous post I love the spring with all the flowers. Last year I didn't go to as many of the flower gardens/festivals as I wanted to, because Louis was not a huge fan of going and looking at flowers. Lucky for me Kai and Jane have as much fun as me so we have done quite a few trips. Our first garden this year was the Ashikaga Flower Park and it was amazing. The Wisteria, azaeleas, tulips and all the other flowers were beautiful. They even had Wisteria flavored treats and Kai and I got ice cream. We went with fiends and had a grand time.

The next trip Kai wasn't able to come because it was a picnic with my culture group, but he had fun with his babysitter playing at the playground. We went to Showa Park, which is our closest park. The tulips were a little past their prime, but they were still beautiful. And I just love my culture group. Such fun ladies.

Our last flower outing was the Shifune Kannon Azalea Festival. Its a valley full of azaleas that are beautifully manicured. It almost felt Dr. Suess like. We went with some neighborhood friends and had a blast.
