Sakura Blossoms
Last year we went down to Kyoto during the cherry blossom season. This year we came back in time for the peak blossoms in our neighborhood. I love that Yokota has as many cherry blossoms as the rest of Japan. They're beautiful and I could go on three walks a day and still love it when it's that beautiful. My kids may have been a little bit irritated with with all the walks I wanted to go on, but it was worth the complaints.
Our rain gutter created a beautiful wildflower area in our yard as well. I just love the spring.
We also celebrated Easter around home. We went to the Easter festivities on base and did Easter dinner with friends. I love that celebrating the resurrection comes with the regrowth of all the flowers. We had a blast this Easter. A special thanks to our friends the Walkers and Erwins for making it so special.
And Grant loves his science. Couldn't help but get some pictures of him enjoying himself.
Also Jane has started eating solid foods. Her first food we gave her a pineapple core and she loved it, of course. And now she wants anything we are eating. Although broccoli is not a favorite. One night she even reached over and stoll a noodle out of Kai's bowl.
Also, baseball has started. And the boys are loving it, but it is exhausting getting all of them to where they need to be.
Spring is always full of the best things.
