We enjoyed a whole week camping at the beach. It was at Bellows Air Station (yes it is as beautiful as the pictures). It is now one of my favorite beaches on the island, with it's beautiful white fine sand and nice waves for bogie boarding. The sand is great for castles, now we just need to work on our skills. And since it is a military base, it is a lot less crowded.
We went with all our church friends, who shared their Aloha spirit. They helped me set up our shelter and tent in no time. They loved helping out with our boys. And we just enjoyed playing games, hiking, swimming, eating shave ice, and hiking together. We also had morning and evening devotionals and family home evening together. Love that they all take that week to spend together, because our family loved it.

| Our campsite. Yes it does feel a little more like glamping, but you need the sun protection in Hawaii. |
