We went to an air show on post. We thought Pace would really enjoy it, and he did. Although he was afraid of the noise. Since the planes were firing practice bombs and guns those were the noises Pace didn't like. And can you blame him? He loved the helicopter the most. After we got home all he could talk about were planes and "copters". And of course the true fan of the airshow was Jake. He loved it more than all of us combined. In fact he was even the one that even suggested this post. So I am trying to do it justice, so that he can remember everything.

There we go!

Waiting for the show to start
This is a video of the A10's. They were the loudest and Pace literally hid under our chairs and watched from there.
The helicopter took off right at the end of the show. This was Pace's favorite part. He still loves to watch this video.
Cargo plane dropping mock supplies down (if you can catch them) and avoiding mock shots at them.
B2 Bombers. They flew high and were silent, but are also pretty rare to see.
We even went to the A10 on post and took pictures so Pace could see one close up.

We also saw a huge anchor
|
And a tank, that Pace liked for a bench
And just in case you wanted to read a professional story on the event. Here is the newspaper article. You may have to actually open the picture and zoom in.
