Let's Party!

We are blown away with the generosity of people here. They are so warm, kind, and willing to give hugs and offer help. Jake's co-workers and their families have invited us to parties and family outings which has been such a blessing. Also our church ward here is amazing. We have already gotten to know so many, and they are still willing to keep talking to me even when I don't understand things very fast. Here is a picture of Kai and Louis at a waterpark we went to with Jake's coworkers. This outing was especially memorable because we thought we got a flat tire on the way and our friends helped us out and got it all sorted out without any hassle. We still spent the entire day having fun on the waterslides, lazy river, and splash pads.
And since we are talk about the people here, I just want to say that Brazillians throw the best parties/BBQs?activities ever. They go big and while it took a bit to get used to the later schedules and longer events we have loved getting to spend time with friends at parties. With 4 kids in school and Jake's coworkers and neighbors we have been invited to many parties and BBQS. I don't usually take too many pictures, but here are a few pictures from two birthday parties we went to.
We also went to the Birthday celebration of the Brazillian First Engineer Group. The kids loved the Parade part of the celebration and listening to the band.
Our good friends Jackie, Junior, Ty, and Sky invited us to their vacation house on Tabatinga beach and it was beautiful. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves and then we swam in the pool and roasted marshmallows on the fire. What could be better?!
The school also hosted a family activity that included sports, music, and dancing. Our kids absolutely loved the music room.
We also got our fast shipment a couple weeks ago, which was like Christmas all over again, because we had more toys suddenly.
And totally unrelated, but here is a picture of us meeting easter bunny Mickey at the grocery store.
And here is a beautiful flower I found on my walk. This one is by itself but on the plant there are many in a bunch a little like hydrangea. It's beautiful
