Tokyo Mega Illumination
So we have only been to one Christmas illumination in Japan (we've gone twice and it has been very impressive), so this year we decided to try out the Tokyo Mega Illumination, which just happens to be held on a horse race track. It was much small and not quite as impresive as the Ashikaga Flower Illuminations, but it had a couple things that really set it apart. First, my favorite thing of the whole illumination was a arora borialis simulation. It was beautiful
It also had some really fun rainbow stairs.
It had a watershow.
And it had colorful rice fields where the plants actually rustled in the wind.
And because it is at a horse track it made for some other fun photoshots.
Here are a few other fun moments we had there.
On the way home we caught a good view of Tokyo Tower.
