Soaring the Skies of Japan

I've been wanting to do paragliding near Mt Fuji for a long time, so when my friend reached out about doing a trip together I jumped at the chance. It was suchan amazing experience and I loved the spectacular views I had while waiting to glide, during the actual flight, and just driving up to the location.
Before our paragliding trip we checked out a nearby waterfall, Shirato Falls. They were gorgeous, and could have been a successful trip on their own! We also stopped for a yummy treat and found a lovely view of Mt Fuji "smoking"....watch out Fuji is about to erupt!!! Just kidding of course.
On our way home we stopped at the Fuji Shibazakura festival. We missed the absolute peak bloom, but we were still able to see some bright pinks and beautiful views. Overall, a once in a lifetime kind of day. So glad I did it. Thanks Tiffany for inviting me along!
And this month I had another oportunity to see Japan from the air. Yokota AB had a spouse's flight again this year. This time they gave us a ride in the Ospreys. It was a lot of fun, and alot smoother than the C 130s last year. So thankful for these flights that I get to be a part of here.
