This picture is so wonderful, Grant drew our family (including Penny) in front of the temple. He drew it for fun. This was inspired by our recent trip to the Tokyo temple grounds and the park nearby. We visited it for the first time, because we wanted to make a video about why the temple is important to our family to go along with our scripture study this week.
We made a short video about why the temple is so important for us. Pace wrote these words, but I am also thankful for the peace I feel when I am there and all the divine direction I have received as I have prayed, meditated, and pondered there. And I am so thankful I was sealed to my family in a temple. I always want to be with my family. I love them so much. I am looking forward to when the Tokyo Temple is re-opened after renovations and COVID restrictions and we can go inside.
After our visit we checked out the Park across the street. It was beautiful and we enjoyed a picnic and exploring.
We found this sign, and thought it was funny. Hope we didn't disturb people.
Other Monson family events include visiting Showa park to play in the children's forest. We visited the rainbow stairs which we'd never found on previous visits.
We read stories.
We ate yummy treats. Like this cute Japanese milk bread and lots of ice cream.

Oh, Pace! That is a wonderful testimony of temples. <3
