Hiking Once Again

I cannot believe how much I missed hiking!  So glad my body is healing, I'm getting used to the new baby routine, and I have a family that is so willing to go with me.  First hike after having Kai was one of our favorites: Kealia Trail.

The grounds guys at Dilligham let the boys play with their tractor.
Then later I was even brave enough to take the boys on a hike by myself.  We had a lot of fun and I ended up feeling like super mom.  4 boys and me successfully made it to Moana Falls and back.  And even went to check out the Lyons Arboretum next door.

You know it is a fun day when you have mud smudged on your nose.
Last hike was along the Maunawili Trail.  It was a wet and mosquito filled hike, but we made a day of it.  And found a cool mushroom along the way.

Amidst all the hiking we also did a little Christmas celebrating.  We went to our city's Christmas parade.  Picked out a tree, and decorated.  And of course there were lots of cookies and presents too.  We also acted out the cutest nativity story (Grant was the director and Kai was baby Jesus of course).
My favorite picture!  These guys are the best (including Jake)

And just for fun here is Louis waking up after a late New Years party
