Pace turned 5! We are shocked that our baby is so old! I mean when did this happen?! We had fun celebrating with him and I made his requested "blue bird cake" (thanks google images for the idea). Pace love Paw Patrol. We all pretend to be the characters almost every day. He is always Chase, Grant is Marshall, Louis is Rocky, Jake is Rubble, and I am Skye. Pace loves to swim and go to the beach. He loves primary and is always a good participator. He also loves to ask me lots of questions.

Other than that here are some highlights from this month.
| We played in the boxes that Pace's birthday gifts came in. |
| Watched fireworks on the fourth |
| Buried Pace in the sand |
| Caught Louis with his hand in the peanut butter |
Louis found out he loves corn on the cob.
| This is how well baby ate the corn |
We went to the keiki fair in Mililani and had Pace's face painted, shot bow and arrows, ate good food, and played games.
| Tiger Pace |
| Grant trying to hit the target |
| My delicious poke bowl with tempura shrimp |
Pace did some exercising with me.
Jake and I have been doing date night in boxes. We love them, and here is a selfie from our July box (it was Hawaiian themed, which is kind of funny when you live in Hawaii). We got to critique how authentic the menu really was.
Pace tried on daddy's uniform.
We also went on a short hike as a family to Lahilahi Point, but it was awesome. It wasn't the best for our little guys, but they made it up halfway and then circled around with daddy to the beach. Jake had gone up to the top while I waited for the boys, so I headed up to the top while they continued around. It was beautiful up there. Amazing views, while on a sharp ridge. While out there I looked down to the ocean and saw a huge sea turtle darting in and out of the rocks. It just made me feel the awe of that moment. A couple years ago I would not have imagined myself on such a hike. So glad we live on this beautiful island.
| Before we got to the climbing we saw this palm tree with a ladder up it. So cool! |
| We ate dinner at the beach park nearby. The point in the background is the one we climbed. |
We made peanut butter play dough again and everyone made beautiful sculptures, while Louis ate all of his.
We also visited Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden. We walked around the lake and fed fish and ducks bread.
| Check out that huge tree stump |
| We found a Christmas tree (It is not an evergreen, but a flowering tree) |
| Just a few of the many fish |
We enjoyed this last month of having Pace home from school, all of us together. It will be a big change for us next month!!
