Baby Louis is fitting right into our crazy house. I say crazy because it feels like the boys have more energy and I have less hands. But we love this little guy more than ever. He is now 6 1/2 weeks old. His brothers love to swing him in his little swing, read him stories, give kisses, and sometimes hugs that are a little too smothering. Luckily Louis is tough. He has already turned over from his stomach to his back (although this is not a regular occurrence yet). He is beginning to smile (but it is impossible to take a picture of his cute fleeting smiles, so you'll have to take my word for it). He even sleeps pretty well at night. He only wakes up to feed and then goes right back to sleep. Because I am a proud mother of another cutie, I have taken too many pictures of him. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Louis was blessed on March 19, 2017. So glad Grandma could come with us.

| We forgot a blanket, so he used Daddy's suit. Only fitting for the day. |

In other news, Jake had a construction project on the Big Island, and had to go there for about 10 days. Let's just say my postpartum hormones kicked in and I missed him more than normal. So, luckily my parents came for the last part of his absence to help me out and to do some fun things with us. It made it much easier to have their visit to look forward to and then to have some extra hands to give the older boys some attention they deserve. Also, I got to do things I haven't done since before I was pregnant (like hike a mountain, yay!).
Waialua Beach (Louis's first beach visit)
We went to the swap meet and Grandma and Grandpa got the boys cool cat glasses
At the dole plantation we rode the train and did the maze. Pace loved leading us through the maze. He took us in all the tiny "sneaky" ways.

We went to Waimea Valley and Falls.

Whale watching at Laie Point, was amazing. Unfortunately we didn't get pictures, but they were close and there were lots of them. Some even jumped all the way out of the water. We did this after a yummy lunch at a shrimp truck.
We walked to Makapuu Lighthouse.

We hiked to Kaena Point from the south side this time. I liked the hike even better from this side.

We went to Pearl Harbor visited some of the museums and went out to the USS Arizona memorial. I know Jake has been wanting to do this for a long time, so I am glad we finally got out there.
My mom and I got to hike Kokohead together. It was a short trail, but straight up. The views were amazing.

So glad my parents could come. It was a wonderful visit and it helped me out a lot. It was like a great staycation.
