We kept things simple for Pace's birthday. We decided to have cake and ice cream at our house and invite his friend from across the street. I did make a train birthday cake, which was a lot of work, but totally worth it. He loved it. He opened his birthday presents after his friend left and he loved them.

I am so grateful for this cute, happy, affectionate guy. We love how he loves to give daddy kisses before he goes to work. He shares ALL his toys with Grant, whether Grant wants them or not. He loves berries and calls all of them boo berries. When you ask him how old he is, he says two but I am not sure he actually has any concept of numbers yet. He is so helpful and is usually happiest playing with other kids or helping me with chores around the house.

And we loved this video, because Pace totally cheats (even though he can do it without cheating)
Wow, Pace is a lucky kiddo! A kitchen AND a basketball hoop. So jealous. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, your train is awesome looking! I've never tried to make something that looks anything other than "yummy." I'm way impressed... and intimidated. Hopefully Craig doesn't expect such wonders for his birthday!
