The Easter Bunny Came to visit Pace!

We kept things simple for Easter with Pace.  We didn't want to go overboard, because of all the egg hunts going on around post and Waynesville/St Robert.  So we decided to just do the hospital egg hunt and a little one here at our house on Saturday.  Pace didn't really go for the eggs until we showed him they had candy in them.  Then he wanted to stop and eat the candy every time he found an egg.  But we finally convinced him to keep hunting.  Now we just give him some candy now and then.  He likes to savor the candy.  He'll eat all but one of the jelly beans that we give him and then save and lick the last jelly bean forever.  Yesterday we didn't realize he still had one in his hand and he kept it the entire walk we went on around the street.  All that was left of that jelly bean was the clear center.  and he had colored goo all over his hands.  He was totally distraught when the jelly center finally fell on the ground and was lost.  But he got over it, as all toddlers do, with the next distraction.

Grant fell asleep during the hunt (it was just too much excitement for him)

It was also General Conference this Easter weekend, so we got to enjoy that.  It helped us focus a little more on Christ and his resurrection.  Although it is much harder to get everything out of it with two babies needing us (last time Pace had nap times that coincided with the sessions, not anymore).
We also decided to dye eggs.  Pace wanted to spill the dye all over, so we decided to just have him point to the colors he wanted us to dip the eggs in.

our eggs :)
There are a few other moments that I wanted to share, because they are just cute!
