So, the beginning of September we went out to visit my Grandma in Seattle. It had been so long since I had seen her and I really wanted her to meet Pace. However, I was so nervous about flying alone with Pace. Especially because I am pregnant right now (yes, I know I have been horrible about announcing it this time but now you know!) and Pace is anything but good at sitting still. So there were mixed feelings on my part before I left. Thankfully Pace was a champ, with only a couple tantrums both there and back. The time with Grandma was great. I really am blessed to have those precious moments with just the three of us. I just wish Jake would have been able to come along, but extra vacation time is something we have to save up for.
Pace loved the yard and the state park near by was great. We loved being outside, and I love that area. We spent as much time as we could outside playing or going for walks. Pace even learned how to kick a ball.
But his favorite thing was to try to shoot baskets, not matter his limitations. Because of his height he was usually 6 or 7 feet too short. But it was so cute to see him try and cheer him on.

| He missed, can you tell? |
He also enjoyed just playing in the grass.
Here are a few highlight pictures from our trip to Flaming Geyser State Park.
| My amazing Grandma. |
| Love the moss in the trees! |
We had fun indoors. Played lots of Patty Cake and explored a new house. He also loved their piano.
| Saw lots of smiles like this because of Patty Cake type games. |
| Mrs. Potato Head glasses. |
| Taco salad. Yum! |
| I can walk with a cane too! |
| Exploring the house. |
| He is probably mad because I took away something breakable, but doesn't he look sharp? Grandma Monson made the vest and my aunt Yo made the tie. |
So after a lot of fun it was time to get back on the plane and head home. The layovers in St. Louis were the best because of this wonderful kids place (right next to Cape air, which is the airline that flys to Ft. Leonard Wood).
| Driving a car |
| The control tower. |
| And yes he can even fly a plane |
It was amazing. The even had a bus, luggage conveyor, metal detector etc. all set up for the kids to play with.
Then to steal a phrase from my grandma, we were home again, home again, jiggity, jig (after 2 weeks of being away). We will miss grandma, but we were so glad to see Daddy again.

| This little guy dug an apple I brought back from Washington for Jake to try and started munching away. At least I know he can eat from a whole apple now ;) |
There really isn't anything as wonderful as laying around eating a fresh Washington apple. Even if the apple hits the ground a few times, who really cares?
And then a few pictures and videos since we have been home, just because I can't get enough of this little guy.
| Yes, those are moose on his feet! |
| Peanut butter sandwiches are supposed to be opened and rubbed on your head, right? |
| And yes this may or may not have been at lunch today. |
Here is Pace playing with one of his favorite toys.
