Pace has been growing up a lot lately. I love it and hate it. All you parents out there, do you know how I feel? I mean I am happy to see him learn and grow, but part of me doesn't want to let go of each of the baby stages. Pace is now the proud owner of two teeth on the bottom, right next to each other. It won't be long till he has more, because teething is still going on (i.e. drool everywhere, fussier at night, and slight fevers). His personality is really coming out and I just can't get enough of this little guy!

He now loves eating solids (as long as his mouth doesn't hurt too much from teething); we just sometimes need to convince him veggies aren't so bad.
He has been trying to pull himself up into a standing position more and more. Sometimes he succeeds other times he doesn't. But when you prop him up he can stand for a long time and he loves it.

| It looks like he is pushing a little shopping cart in this one. |

We have also been able to actually play more games with him. Spoon fighting and pass are some of Pace's favorites. He also loves music (no surprise with how much his dad is singing around the house). So, lately our favorite radio station is the Pandora Disney channel. Pace likes to dance with all of us.
Also, finally we are thawing out here in Missouri. So on the first decent temperature weekend (it was above freezing this Saturday!) around here we went hiking. We picked out a hike out of one of my hiking books at Ha Ha Tonka. Not only was the name interesting (apparently it came from a Native American term meaning laughing waters), but it also promised castle ruins, caves, and sink holes. I couldn't wait to get out there for a hike. Luckily there were only a couple snow flurries at the beginning and by the end the temperatures were probably low 40ies. We stayed warm with a few layers, and the hike did not disapoint.

| Check out this strong guy doing all the stairs with a baby. |

| Isn't this spring amazing?! |
 |
| If you look closely you can see all the stairs down the side of this sink hole. |
 |
| Farther down from the spring, the castle ruins are up there on the cliff. |

| Look at that cutie all bundled up and in a carrier. He loved being out there. |

I love being outdoors. This was my favorite hike in Missouri so far.
