So, we have been doing lots of fun things around the area and at home and we wanted to share. Pace is just getting bigger and more active, we love it.
So, my aunt Yo made ties for Pace. I need to buy a white shirt so he can really wear them to church and look dressed up. But that didn't stop me from playing dress up with him (yes, its fun with boys too). Here is the handsome guy sporting his ties.

Pace loves talking to Daddy. He also likes kicking a lot. Also, if you can't tell we love our boppy pillow. We use it all the time. Bellow is Pace taking a nap on it.

So, last week Jake's company had a family lunch. Pace and I decided we wanted to go. While there we got to play on some of their equipment. The army is really good about doing family events like this. That is one of the things that I love about the army, it does seem to be very family oriented.

| My personal favorite. He is so focused on driving. |

| But this one is pretty cute too! (again the cute outfit is from Aunt Beth :) |

Also, because Jake got a 3 day weekend this last weekend we decided to do some more exploring around the area. We went to St. Louis to go to the zoo. A first for Pace! He liked it a lot his favorite things were the trees, the train and a lemur. He does love trains like his daddy. Also, he loves trees like his mommy. And he made friends with a lemur. We brought him close to one that was by the glass, and the lemur put his paws up to Pace. Cutest thing ever! We were impressed with the landscaping of the zoo here, but felt like it was a little more spread out than your average zoo. But then the animals probably like that better. But we did a lot of walking in between animals.

That night we went to Tucano's, a restaurant we have missed since leaving Provo (I mean who doesn't miss a Brazilian Grill?). We also had a coupon because of Jake's birthday coming up. Needless to say we ate our month's worth of protein and enjoyed Brazilian lemonade, cheese bread, rice and beans, and fried bananas. Yum! We only discovered that there was one near St. Louis this last week. So glad there is one around here.
