Monson Family Reunion

So, Jake's family had their Monson reunion last week for the 4th of July.  Unfortunately this meant that Jake was still busy with his EBOLC (training for officers in the Army Engineers).  So, I went by myself and still had a blast.  I'm really glad I married into such a fun family (they're almost as fun as mine, lol).  Jake did a good job holding down the fort.  Penny was sure glad he was around.

I could go through everything we did in order, but I though a list would be easier.
1. Talked (of course)
2. Played games (speed scrabble, pit, and others)
3. Monson Olympics (My team was awesome we tied for first, with two other teams)
4. Hiked Crescent and Highlight Lakes
5. Day-tripped down to Yellowstone. (Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Falls, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and Artist Paint Pots)
6. 4th of July Party with awesome firework show
7. Floated the Madison River

There were probably more things we did, but that gives you a pretty good list.  I forgot my camera.  So here are a few pictures that I stole from the facebook pictures of the photographers of our family.
