Tulips, Temples, and really BIG hills!

So, After graduation we go to spend a little time with our friends Jeanette, Kyler, and Calista (who has gotten a lot bigger since we saw her last, don't worry this is not an insult as Calista is a baby :).  We had a lot of fun with them.  Here are some of the adventures we went on.

We went to Thanksgiving point for the tulip festival.

We rolled down the big main hill....

And I sort of lost control and went int the flower beds. :(

We're almost as pretty as those flowers behind us, no?

The view up the hill we rolled down.

Opening the door to the secret garden.

Look at all those tulips!

Orange Dafodils...I'd never seen them before, but I love them!

I also went to Salt Lake with them.  We visited a few key spots.  We went to Ruth's Diner (which was shown on Diners Drive Ins and Dives).  Their biscuits are as good as the show says if not better.  Then we went to Temple square (gotta love that place).  The flowers were comparable to Thanksgiving Point.

The beautiful temple.

The mother statue... in honor of mother's day coming up.

The seagull monument...one of my favorites.

That night we also went to check out City Creek Mall.  It was a pretty nice area and we really enjoyed it.  Then we went to the Red Iguana for dinner.  Yum.  BEST MOLES EVER!

  1. Congratulations Elizabeth on getting your Master's Degree! What an accomplishment! It's been fun to catch up on a little of what you've been up to over the last little while! Thanks for the updates & thanks for the memories way back in our younger years... I still cherish our friendship from way back then. It's been fun to watch us grow up! Love you!
