A tower of chairs

First a little update about us.  Jake is getting already for a construction management competition this coming week.  He is one of the main estimators on his team, which is pretty cool.  The competition is in Reno, so he may get some warm weather while he is at it.  I am planning on submitting my first 4 chapters (there are 6 total) of my thesis to my adviser on Monday.  I'm so excited to being so close to the end!

We went to see the Peking Acrobats.  Never heard of them?  They are a Chinese performing group of acrobats that are AMAZING.  The acrobat guy on Ocean's 11 was a member of the group.  Anyways, needless to say Jake and I had a blast.  If you ever get a chance to go see them,  do it.  You won't be disappointed.  I mean my mind was totally blown away that humans could be so strong, balanced , and flexible.  Since we couldn't take pictures at the performance here are some pictures from the internet of some of the things we saw.
They fit 10 people on a bike

They jumped through a lot of hoops and other  crazy cool stuff.

They even did the Lion Dance.

But my favorite was this.  That is a stack of at least 6 chars on a stand and on 4 wine bottles.  Yeah, the whole audience was holding their breath.  We had a lot of fun :)
