There's no Place like Home

At home we've been playing hard. Which also means we are sleeping hard. Here are a few highlights of that.
School has been really fun as well. We got to participate in Maple Bear's Father's Day event (it's in August here in Brazil).
Kai celebrated 100 days at school.
Pace competed in a robotics competition and loved it.
Jane celebrated military day...she's going to grow up just like her dad!
After going to the Pantanal and Amazon you would think that we'd be bored looking at wildlife and nature. But we just love it so we kept finding natural beauty all around us. Our neighborhood burrowing owns have been very photogenic lately promting questions from the kid of, "Can we take a picture of him?!" Here are some really wise owls we caught being awesome.
Something I really love as well are flowers, rainbows and sunsets. We caught a few of those on camera as well. Added bonus is that is Jane riding her bike off into the sunset (She's getting so big!).
A fun event in the neighborhood was Jake's anual Sao Joao party at work! It is absolutely one of my favorite events here in Joao Pessoa. We danced forro, we ate yummy food, and we played games it's the best. I love this video of Jane asking Jake to dance, it melts my heart.
And to end it Jake bought us all BYU t-shirts to prepare us for the upcoming season and this picture is just too good not to share.
