Christmas and New Year's Eve Hi-lights
We made it home for Christmas, woke up and got all fancy to celebrate Christmas in church only to have Kai start throwing up. So we stayed home and celebrated Christ's birthday as a family. Besides the barfing we had a really great Christmas morning. In fact Kai is not one to complain about feeling sick he's usually his normal self except the added mess. So we could stay pretty cheerful. We did stocking and presents. I especially loved seeing what the kids got each other. We did a drawing names gift exchange where they each had a $5 limit at Hard off(a thrift store here in Japan).
On The 30th we went to see the Christmas lights at Ashikaga Flower Park. We went the first year and decided to revisit. It was a lot busier this time around, but we still had a blast. And I found my favorite Chocolate mochi.
Unfortunately I caught the bug everyone else had earlier so I had to miss out on the festivities. But Jake took the kids to the Walkers to hang out with friends and ring in the new year.
For new year's breakfast they went to the Erwin's to eat fry bread, yum!
And while I might not of been able to go with everyone I still made sure to get my new year's snuggles in.
