A Change of Command

After a little bit over a year Jake passed on the torch for the 130th EN HHC Company.  He did such a great job and I know his soldiers appreciated his leadership.  He also received a meritorious service medal for his service.  I am so happy to be married to this amazing guy who is such an honest, humble leader.

Before the ceremony we got to explore a little bit

This month before this big event we did a few hikes, beaches, and adventures together.   We are really trying to fit all of this in before we aren't on island any more.

We remembered at Pearl Harbor

We hiked Maunawili Ditch Trail

Visited 'Aweoweo Beach Park

We frolicked in the sand at our favorite Bellows Beach

We celebrated Grant's invented holiday on July 23nd: Dinosaur Day

We discovered at Foster Botanical Garden

We learned how to go up stairs

We explored the shores near Turtle Bay

We hiked our favorite Kaena Point

We visited mermaid caves

We beat the pink pill box hike

We lived our best lives!
