A Vampire, Batman, Dragon, and a Mini Pumpkin

Our family is growing and we are all adjusting to having a new family member.  Life with a newborn is challenging, more than I remember.  At least feeding Kai has been a challenge and very painfull.  But after a couple of lactation consultants, lots of pumping, tears, sleepless nights and a lot of determination I made it through the first six weeks and he is still breast feeding.  And now Kai and I have got it down. Phew.  Now I can enjoy the baby cuddles a lot more without the stress.

He likes to hold onto his ear

Ummm, does it get any cuter?

Pretty sure I was walking Penny one morning and saw this and realized that although it seems tough, I have so many things to be thankful for.

Love these precious moments
We celebrated Jake's 35th birthday.

And Pace was awarded the Ha'aheo Award for best overall improvement for his class in the month of September.
Awesome job Pace!  And Grant in real life whenever a camera is pointed in his direction.

And Halloween was such a fun celebration here.  All the boys love absolutely everything about Halloween.  What is not to love.  We even went through a haunted military boat ( which was definitely too scary for Grant).  There were tears, we may not make that mistake again.  But Halloween parties and Trick or treating was so much fun.

We dressed up almost every day in October.  Look at these scary guys.

Ready to trick or treat on Halloween

And one last picture of our new little guy and a lazy Saturday morning.
