End of One Year and Into 2019

I have found myself wanting to be more up to date with this blog, so I may play catch up with a few blogs highlighting some awesome events.

In December Jake and I finally got the chance to paddle out to China man's hat.  Since the weather wasn't perfect we had it all to ourselves and it was so awesome.  I love Jake and his willingness to share adventures like this with me.

On Dec 21st Pace won the Na Hoku award at school for being the most improved student in his class for academics and behavior.  I am so proud of him.  He loves to read and he talks about math all the time (not sure if that's because I always ask him about it, lol).  He such a smart kid and I'm impressed with how good his memory is all the time.  Now, if I could only learn some memory skills from him. 😂

And Christmas was fun, seeing how much our boys loved the lights, gifts, parties, treats, and decorations.  And of course we acted out the nativity story and it was a little rough, but adorable.

He couldn't wait to knock that tower over
We kicked off the new year with some of our favorite activities.  A visit to a new park and a hike up Pu'u Pia trail (which is a family friendly hike that is absolutely stunning and not too many hikers passing by).
The Park has a dragon!

I am one lucky woman, I am surrounded by these cute boys!

This picture makes me so happy
This cute moment is brought to you by Grant

We also had some fun beach days...of course.

Yes, Louis was ready to sleep on that sand

Beach and friends, what more do we need?
I also took my turn teaching joy school.  Some of our crafts really turned out great.  Others kind of flopped.
Haha!  Can you even tell that these are armadillos?!  The coolest animal around

But these ones were so cute
And the boys celebrated my birthday with me.  They went all out and decorated for me and everything.

And Jake baked me a yummy Texas sheen cake as I requested.
And my boys have started picking me flowers.  They melt my heart.  I love them.

And not to brag or anything, but Grant and I built this block dinosaur.  Pretty awesome, eh?!
