Roadtrip USA, Part 1: Texas

Before I go into the details of our trip, I want to give Jake a big shout out because he now is officially a Master of Enginering Management.  He finished his last classes while helping me clean out our house in preparation to move.  What a great guy.  I love him and am so proud of him.  There was no official ceremony, so I have no good pictures.  Jake is now an official graduate of Missouri S&T, go miners!

We spent our first week away from Missouri in Texas.  After not seeing Josh and Jeong Eun for a couple years, during their time in Korea, it was fun to catch up. Plus it was great seeing Grandma and Grandpa Monson and Crystal too.  The week was a lot of fun.  We played games, went to the state fair, visited Crystal's school (Pace loved it), celebrated Jake's birthday, and relaxed.
Enjoying Grandpa's birthday balloons, he didn't even want to set them down to eat
