Captain Jake

Ok, so maybe it doesn't have the ring of Captain Jack, but we love this captain even more.  We are so proud of Daddy for serving in the military and were glad to celebrate his promotion this month to Captain.

We also got to get all fancy for the Engineer Regimental Ball.  Love my man in uniform(even if he can't smile for the camera).

Other than that Grant is taking a few steps here and there, but is sort of in denial.  We're ok with that.  Outside he had adopted this crazy crawl where he doesn't put his knees down.  He just walks on his hands and feet, luckily I've captured it.

Grant started eating with a spoon, kind of.  This video is his first attempt.  You can compare it with Pace's first attempt here (ok, I am feeling nostalgic today).
